This is NOT like the vanilla bean paste you buy in the store. We do not add any sweeteners nor gums. A 2oz jar is filled with pure vanilla bean seeds that save you time and money slicing and scraping the seeds out of your vanilla beans. A small amount of our pure vanilla extract is placed in each jar to preserve all the delicious seeds. It will mostly be seen at the top of the seeds. Do not pour this out. Simply give your jar a stir or a shake to mix well then take out the amount of vanilla seeds you desire. They are packed full of vanilla flavor. A little goes a long way!
